The roads are still slushing over, and with the temperatures dropping we don’t want anyone risking injury trying to make it to class. Please stay home, stay warm, and stay safe!

But… that doesn’t mean you can’t keep training! 💪
Here’s some at-home “snow day homework” to help you stay sharp:

🥋 Side Kick Training
• Hold the dining room chair for balance
• 10 side kicks each leg
• Hold your best side-kick position for 3 rounds of 60 seconds
• Put your hands on the wall and do leg raises in the side-kick chamber position—10–15 each leg

🔥 Wall Sits
• 3 rounds of 60 seconds
• Keep your back flat and your hands off your legs

💥 Additional Snow-Day Drills:
• Stance Walking: Down a hallway—front stance, fighting stance, or horse riding stance, 5 laps
• Punching Pyramid: 10 punches each hand (slow + sharp), then 20, then 30—focus on technique
• Shadow Sparring: 2–3 rounds of 60–90 seconds imagining an opponent
• Core Challenge: 3 rounds
– 20 crunches
– 20 mountain climbers
– 10–15 supermans
• Flexibility Work:
– Butterfly stretch 60s
– Hamstring stretch 60s each side
– Side split stretch: slow and controlled, 60s
